Josh says his first word

mark it in the books...Josh said his first word in all the babble, DADA! Tom was thrilled like a proud papa he was telling everyone that would listen! heres a couple pics of Josh and his "dada" on toms bday....enjoy!

Just a quick note, Josh is starting to creep, so it wont be long before it is a full crawl, he gets himself off the playgym constantly here are a couple pics from him this morning getting off his mat you can see it a little on the side its green.....

much overdue

Well it has been awhile since I posted... keeping busy! I am finally part time so I have much more time to spend with Josh :) Josh is already 5.5 months old he is growing so fast I cannot believe it! He is starting to grab his toes and has figured out he has hands he will stare at them while moving them it is just too cute! He giggles alot now, and loves to be the center of attention! No teeth yet still working on them, some days are better than others he pretty much puts everything in his mouth so we have to be careful what he gets his little hands on! As for sleeping at night its about 50/50 some nights he will get up a couple times some nights he sleeps long long periods I guess his teeth have alot to do with that! We plan on taking Josh for 6 Month pics soon :) and in November we are taking a class together: aqua tots which should be fun!

vacation

The trip to california was great! Josh had such a good time, visiting with Grandpa and Nana and all my Aunts and Uncles. He did fairly well on the plane, slept some, pooped some and played some. We thought it would be worse but he was our little angel! Josh also did well at katies wedding, he sat good in the wagon and basically looked around as he was pulled down the isle. we had a hard time of course getting him to sleep with the loud music but he got so tired he ended up just passing out. Overall, we all had a great time :)

In other news: since we have been home, Josh has been starting to roll over! from front to back and back to front! He is doing it more and more everyday! He even does it at night, I will wake up and he will be sleeping on his belly:) He is growing up so fast! anyway he is some pics from our trip.

It has been a pretty busy week for us! saturday we spent the evening at Missy and Georges house for their sailing away party... Josh was a little flirt with all the ladies! Josh can ALMOST roll over he rolls from side to side, he just cant get that last little bit over yet! I am sure it wont be too long! Josh goes friday for his 4 month checkup so i will post more then!

It has been a pretty busy week- we have been starting to get ready for Katies wedding and our trip out to california in 2.5 weeks! Josh and Mommy did some shopping and came home with some new stuff! We ordered a little tux for Josh which he will look adorable in!!! :) It was a good week for Josh, not too fussy this week still drooling everywere!

Annual BBQ/ Leftovers

Our 3rd annual bbq was this weekend! We had alot of fun, it rained a little, but it didn't seem to stop the good times! Josh was sooooo well behaved, I was a proud mama! He was a little flirt, and was giving smiles to all the ladies! Of course he was passed around everyone taking their turn, he didn't seem to mind! He slept before the BBQ which I think was the key, so he was so happy after he woke up and got his belly full! We ended up having loads of leftovers, enough that we could barely open our fridge without something falling out, so we had the Bottchers, the Hafners the Wilsons and Jamie over for dinner on sunday, to try to get rid of it!
